Cheshire's Scrapbook
Welcome to the cheshire system's little corner of the web!
did you know some cats disguise themselves as humans? they're shapeshifters and crave entertainment (and not to forget, delicious salmon! ) we're a bunch of cats in a trenchcoat!
cheshire's scrapbook is a little collection of web things we want to archive, our hobbies & interests, pages for our alters and fun & useful resources. this place is always under construction. we hope you'll enjoy your stay!
: all graphics used on this page lead to their source if you click on them or can either be found in our hoard or our credits page!
updates
[03/10/2024] Our guestbook is up now, at the bottom of this page! messing with the code sucked and there's no fancy decoration, but for now it's functional. we'll come back to it later.
[02/10/2024] Finally added our hoard/graphic's archive! updates for the archive's pages themselves can be viewed there~!
[19/09/24] Added an about page for our system and our alters! We'll probably make it look nicer in the future. And made more progress on the graphcis archive too!
[12/09/24] Added a button for our website and made progress on our graphics archive! Hopefully we can put a link to the latter up soon~
[20/08/24] Created a page for the archive directory, connected it to our homepage and linked our meme archive~! Funny we made the meme archive before even our homepage. Time for some giggles!
[18/08/24] The official birth of this website!
About Us
we're a system, that means we're multiple alters in the same body. we're a mentally disabled adult, gay, transmasc, mlm & polyamorous. our big passions are art and psychology and our hobbies include gaming, writing, making art, listening to music and archiving stuff. always sleepy and daydreaming...
we love cute things, psychological horror and delicious treats! we also share a big love for felines and aquatic animals (especially rays...!) we speak english and german, and want to learn japanese next. our favourite gaming genres are rpgs, visual novels, pixel-style and build-up games. our tastes vary from alter to alter, but we're also really into lolita fashion (ouji, gothic, punk!), j-fashion (fairy kei, yume kawaii, gurokawa!) and anything punk and goth. and we looove plushies!
neocities is fun because the way the web is now is gross and we admire people who want to revive how the old web was. we want to contribute by archiving and preserving all the stuff we like, too!
systemhood
discovering you're a system is a really tough fight. getting diagnosed is impossible and disadvantageous in many places. popular media have done their best to demonise systems and plurals! we all suffer from the "my other personality is an evil serial killer" trope treatment. ableism is rooted deeply in society and its institutions, and many people with identity and personality disorders suffer greatly from it. please support people, even if you can't relate to their struggle!
what's a system anyway? what does being plural mean? there's many questions to be answered if you don't know about DID, OSDD and related disorders! in the future, we'll make a little page to gather resources and talk about our experiences.
our system mostly contains of fictives (alters whose formation is based on fictional characters), many of us aren't human and slide in age. we're polyfragmented too and struggle with many comorbid disorders. adhd, autism, depression and anxiety are among them. we have an extensive and colourful headspace and many positive in-system relations. a lot of us feel like family to each other! we don't always agree on everything, but we do our best to work together. it's nice.
our current system hosts are ray (me!) and scaramouche. you will see us around the most, so let's get along.
vibe check! checking on you for food, drink, meds & medical equipment, a bathroom break and rest! also check when you've last cleaned yourself & brushed your teeth. have you messaged anyone you like lately? have you taken a walk or sat outside for a while?
please take care of yourself. we believe in you!
